Looking at a tc29d with the 7308 for 16,700.00 does any one think the loader is under rated at 875Lbs. a dealer told me, with a implement on the back for weight the loader would pick up over 1000Lbs, it this correct. If i can get a better price on the Case DX29 should i go with it instead of the new holland?

I have a tc29d and I think that it would be a stretch to pick up 1000lbs. The tractor will tilt with what I would consider fairly light loads ....

I have a TC33D with 7308 loader, did not seem to be lifting much so I had the dealer make sure the valve settings were correct sure enough it was low. It was around 1800 psi, should be at 2100 +-75 psi we set it at 2400psi. Man what a differance,I used everything I could find to see what it would lift, old wheel weights, gym weights, cinder blocks, horse feed, rock salt, neighbor and even my wife with all the above I got to 2016lbs and the loader picked it up like it was empty. I was impressed. I could not fit any more in the bucket to find its max. My tractor has filled tires and two 75lbs weights on each rear wheel, I also had a rake on the back. My guess is if I put my weight box on (approx 1000lbs) It would lift over 2500lbs. ....

I love the tractor, I would recomend a TC33D instead of a TC29D. I paid $17,500 for a TC33D w/ filled industrial tires and heavy duty bucket (the heavy duty bucket is a must). The few hundred extra for the 33 will be well appreciated later. If you live were it gets cold I would recomend a block heater It is 5* here this mourning and I just ordered one. If you do plan to lift max loads the wheel weights make a big differance as well as a weight box. I made a cheap weight box by using a king cutter 3pnt platform ($60) and some Old farmall cub wheel weights 150lbs x 4 Plus some gym weights. I collect and restore old cubs. The utility light for the back is also a nice add on. ....
